Samsung UN65D8000 65-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Led HDTV

December 28th, 2011

I purchased this tv virtually 2 weeks ago to replace a 42 in Panasonic plasma. There are a luck of smashing things most this tv, Samsung UN65D8000 simply the one thing that matters most – the flick – was a big disappointment. The design and features of this tv are great. Internet worked really well, menus are nicely put out and I loved the large screen. If you see the tv straight on, the picture is excellent, but if you sit the slightest turn expire pith it washes out quickly. Smutty layers got terrible, screen uniformity issues become glaring (flashlighting and vertical banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Story was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma film is not quite equally bright, simply the croak inwardness regarding and colors are far superior. For me, better blackamoor layers and color are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
